Our favourite hand knitting yarns are available in a variety of counts and compositions for optimal handle and stitch definition. Lofty Merinos, fluffy kid Mohairs and our very popular Superwash Sock Yarn which lasts wash after wash.

Undyed yarns are available on cone or on hank for hand dyeing. Our on site dye house will match to your specific pantone shade. Dyed yarns are offered on cone, hank or in balls, ready for retail sale as required.

Under our Hand Knitting Library we invite you to the creative world of yarn development. Here we offer custom blends, compositions and effects either from our library of developments, or spun to the specifications of your choice.

Stock Yarns

Our favourite yarns have been selected for our regular stock collection, ranging from fine lace and skinny singles to chunky roving yarns.

Available in Superwash Merinos and other natural blends including Linen, Mohair and Silk. A firm favourite is our Superwash Sock Yarn as well as our prized Super Kid Mohair Silk.

Working with hand knitting companies around the world, we supply recommended needle sizes for each of our yarns.

Our development programme gives you the opportunity to design your own yarn, or to explore our library for possibilities. Slubs, neps, twists, lurex, stellinas, loop or brushed yarns are available. Minimum order quantities apply.

Retail Ready Yarns

All of our yarns are available balled, dyed and labelled under a private label service offered by our sister company Hinterveld.
